Burglaries Increased In August
Burglaries increased in northern Greenville County during the month of August. According to crime map statistics 11 burglaries were reported to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office between August 1st and August 31st. There were only 5 reported in the same area in July.
Burglars seemed to have had a high interest in the Lawton Road area of Cleveland as three burglaries were reported there on August 12th, August 9th and August 3rd.

1700 block of Little Texas Road, Travelers Rest on August 26th; 4500 block of Geer Highway, Cleveland on August 19th; 2600 block of Tigerville Road, Travelers Rest where a restaurant was burglarized on August 28th; 24900 block of Highway 25 North, Travelers Rest where a restaurant was burglarized on August 13th; Rock Quarry Road, Travelers Rest where an attempted burglary took place on August 13th; Lawton Road, Cleveland on August 12th; Lawton Road, Cleveland on August 9th; Lawton Road, Cleveland on August 3rd; 200 block of Goodwin Road, Travelers Rest where an attempted burglary was reported on August 12th; 2600 block of Tigerville Road, Travelers Rest where an attempted burglary to a restaurant was reported on August 1st and 5100 block of Mountain View Road, Taylors where an attempted burglary was reported at another restaurant.
