Frances M. Rhodes

Marietta, SC

Frances Ethel Mason Rhodes, 87, of 109 Rhodes Lane, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina. Frances was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on August 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Asbury and Dora Stone. She was the widow of Major Cline Rhodes.

She was a retired employee of GMAC and a member of Gap Creek Baptist Church in Marietta, South Carolina, where she was a very active member of The Young At Heart Club.

Frances is survived by two sons, Greg B. Rhodes, of Marietta, South Carolina; Anthony B. Rhodes, of Daytona Beach, Florida; a sister, Helen McCullough, of Whitmire, South Carolina; two granddaughters, Franchesca Rhodes; Leanna Booth and her husband, Matthew.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Rhodes was predeceased by a brother, Deward and three sisters, Edna, Maxine and Blanche.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Seawright Funeral Home in Inman, South Carolina. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at Seawright Funeral Home, conducted by, Dr. Pete Wilbanks and Mr. Jimmy Hattaway. A private committal service will follow.
