Motorcycles Stolen In Travelers Rest, Marietta, Tigerville And Berea
An outbreak of motorcycle thefts were reported across northern Greenville County in recent weeks. On August 17th a Suzuki R750 was stolen from a residence on Shelton Road in Travelers Rest. On August 27th a 2001 Harley Davidson Dyna Super Glide motorcycle was stolen from a residence on Montague Road. On August 30th a 2001 Harley Fat Boy was taken from Cherokee Lane in Marietta. Those reports were followed by two September 3rd incidents. A red 1985 Harley Davidson Sportster was stolen from a residence on Wendfield Drive in Travelers Rest and a red, white and black Honda motorcycle was taken from Geer Highway in Travelers Rest. On September 7th a black 2006 Honda was taken from a residence on Highway 414 in Tigerville.
DOG GONE BURGLERS STEAL DOG - A residential burglary was reported on Geer Highway in Cleveland on August 10. The low down crooks stole fishing equipment, tools and even a dog.
BOTTOMLESS PERSON CAUGHT NAPPING ON TRAIL - On August 9th at 7:10 a.m., law enforcement arrested a person that was sleeping on a bench on the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Travelers Rest. The person was charged with possession of Meth and was caught sleeping on the bench with his/her pants down. A rude awakening? Maybe.
ANIMAL CRUELTY - County deputies responded to an animal cruelty complaint on August 28th at Bethany Road, Travelers Rest. A suspect left a dog with no food or water. The dog was found with muscles atrophied. An arrest was made.
ASSAULT - Finley Road, Travelers Rest. Suspect yelled, stomped, broked objects, released dog from the house and pulled the victim's hair. August 31st.
STRONG ARM ROBBERY - On September 4th a strong arm robbery was reported on Lincoln Chapel Road off White Horse Road Extension northwest of Travelers Rest. An unknown suspect struck the victim in the face and head and stole the victim's phone, money and wallet. The incident happened at 3 pm.
FUEL SLINGING INCIDENT - Southerlin Road, Marietta, September 2nd. Assault. A suspect stole the victim's trailer hitch, threw gasoline on the victim. The hitch was recovered. Incident was reported On September 2nd at 1:30 a.m.
