Sunday Shooting In Marietta

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office issured the following press release Sunday afternoon. It is presented below as written.

Investigators with the GCSO are investigating a shooting that reportedly occurred at 304 White Oak Way in Marietta.

The 911 call was received just before 1:30 PM regarding an adult male who had been shot. When deputies arrived at the residence, they located a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Deputies say this is an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the public. This is an ongoing investigation.
