SCDOT Public Meeting Scheduled For Pickens County

The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) announces a public information meeting for the proposed SC 135 and S-95 safety intersection project in Pickens County.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, June 24, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Cross Roads Baptist Church, located at 160 Cross Roads Church Rd, Easley, SC. This is a drop-in meeting providing citizens with project displays and the opportunity to provide written comments. Formal verbal comments will not be taken during this meeting. Project information, including meeting material, will also be available on the project website or by accessing SCDOT's website (, Public Involvement Portal- Current Projects).

The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for attendees to review and discuss individually with representatives from SCDOT the proposed SC 135 (Dacusville Hwy) Safety Improvement Project in Pickens County.

The proposed project will convert an existing 2-way stop intersection to a roundabout along the existing alignment that will meet current design requirements, eliminate crossing conflicts and improve safety.
