January Crime Report


The following crimes were reported to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office during the first weeks of 2022.


January 10 - Burglary on Edwards Road, Marietta. Garage door was kicked in. Weed trimmer was stolen and the case remains active.


January 9 - Theft on Keeler Mill Road, Travelers Rest. 2019 PAC 6x12 foot enclosed utility trailer with ladder rack stolen from lot. The investigation remains active.


January 9 - Assault on Rasor Drive, Greenville. Subjects were engaged in mutual combat/abandonment of minor child. The investigation remains active.


January 9 - Assault on Alston Street, Greenville. Aggravated assault. Subject stabbed victim. The investigation remains active.


January 6 - Theft on Mountain Creek Road, Taylors. Subject cut lock on a propane cage and stolen eleven 5 gallon propane tanks. The investigation remains active.


January 7 - Drug/Narcotics violations. Possession with Intent to Distribute Meth 3rd offense; possession of Marijuana 2nd offense. Investigation was cleared by arrest.


January 4 - Theft on Church Street, Greenville. Someone burned a hole in a tent and stole a Samsung smart phone. The investigation has been administratively closed.


January 4 - Trespass on Watson Road, Travelers Rest. Trespass on real property. Trespass notice was served. Investigation has been cleared.


January 4 - Theft on Katie Drive, Greenville. Theft from unlocked motor vehicle. Purse, bank card, social security card, cash stolen. Investigation has been administratively closed.


January 3 - Theft from motor vehicle on Wardview Avenue, Greenville. Theft from unlocked motor vehicle. Social security card, license, concealed weapons permit and an ash tray were stolen.


January 3 - Motor Vehicle Theft on Cedar Lane Road, Greenville. 2010 dark blue KIA Optema stolen. Case remains active.


January 5 - High Park Drive, Greenville motor vehicle theft. Black Ford F150 stolen. Case remains active.


January 5 - Traffic violations, Cedar Lane Road, Greenville. Failure to stop for blue lights/Faulty vehicle equipment. Investigation has been administratively closed.


January 3 - Theft on Farrs Bridge Road, Greenville. Theft from unlocked vehicle. Wallet, Social Security Card, License, Debit card, iphone, tools and tool box stolen. Investigation remains active.
