Demolition Of TR Landmark Building Started Last Week

Demolition of a historic landmark building started last week at the corner of Poinsett and Tubbs Mountain Road in downtown Travelers Rest. The structure was the home of Batson's Grocery for many years before housing Classic Events in the 1990's. The building was purchased by a nearby church but was never used.
