TR Man Found Dead In Vacant Home

Investigators from the Greenville County Sheriff's Office are investigating the death of a 67 year old Travelers Rest man.

Mark Dewey Bailey's body was found in a vacant residence on Table Rock Road in Cleveland at 8:30 pm Monday. Senior Deputy Coroner Kent Dill said it appears Bailey's body was moved from his residence on Geer Highway in Travelers Rest to the Cleveland residence. It is still unclear when Bailey actually died but Dill said it appears he had been dead for several days when deputies found the body.

The death is being investigated as a suspicious but the cause of death has not been determined.
