Burglars Hit Six Northern Greenville Churches

Six northern Greenville County church buildings have been hit by burglars over the Christmas holiday. Those burglaries were reported to the Greenville County Sheriff's Office from December 7th through December 26th.

According to crime map reports, New Liberty Baptist Church was burglarized on December 7th on North Highway 25, Travelers Rest. A grand larceny was also reported at that location.

On December 16th a burglary was reported at a church located in the 300 block of Highway 25 By-Pass. The crime report did not disclose the name of that church.

On December 19th a burglary and malicious damage was reported at Skypoint Baptist Church (formerly Ebenezer Baptist) on Ebenezer Church Road, Travelers Rest. On that same day a burglary was reported at Without Walls Christ Fellowship, 6400 Old Buncombe Road, Travelers Rest.

One day later, on December 20th, a burglary was reported at Tyger Baptist Church on Highway 414 near Tigerville.

On December 26th a burglary was reported at Gap Creek Baptist Church on Gap Creek Road, Marietta.

On November 28th Fairhaven Church reported a burglary. That church building is located on Dogwood Drive, Travelers Rest.
