Downtown Marietta before Geer Highway was four lanes wide. On the left is the old Marietta Washette, Jones' tire shop and Batson's Exxon. On the right is The Monitor's office, the dime store and Jararrd's Hardware. The photo was shot in the 1970's by Larry Atkins.
